This gorgeous zippered bag is the perfect size for your everyday use.
Mr. Fox and Mrs. Chicken have come to visit the busy bees, maybe they are hoping for a delicious afternoon tea of scones and strawberry jam!!
I have had fun combining needle turn and wool appliqué with some of my favourite embroidery stitches.

You will Need:
- 10” x 15” cream tonal, background
- 15” x ½ WOF green multi print, hill, bag base and backing
- 7” x WOF dark blue print, bag top, handles and domes
- 1 (1½” x 5”) each of 5 cream/gold prints, beehive
- 1½” x 5” dark blue floral, beehive base
- 3” x 6½” dark burgundy/brown, fox
- 2” x 2½” blue print, beehive door
- 2” x 2½” pink print, petals
- 2” x 5” green print, leaves
- 1 (3” x 3”) square each of green and red wool, strawberries and strawberry tops
- Embroidery thread, I used Valdani #P5 tarnished gold, #0511 black sea, #078 aged wine, #0518 dusty leaves, #519 green olives, #0178 tea and #126 Old cottage grey
- 16” (40cm) double ended zipper
- 4 x 1” (24mm) plastic domes, zipper ends
- Stitchery stabilizer, optional
- 1/2yd batting, I used a foam batting as I like how it keeps the shape of the bag
- 1/2yd lining fabric
- Fusible web, strawberries
