The organiser opens to reveal a little envelope packed for storing packets of needles, and two appliquéd wool birds will keep your needles in place during your project. Open the floss organiser further and 24 little packets are waiting to hold your floss. You can see the thread colour through the clear pockets. A simple tie holds the organiser together.
Features appliqué and embroidery, with some machine sewing.
Finished size is approximately:
8 1/2" wide x 5 1/2" high when folded
8 1/2" wide x 14 3/4" high when open
This kit includes:- a colour pattern, the fabrics to make the sewing organiser including the binding fabric & a pre-printed stitchery background.
Get started on the project by cutting the swatches apart and then using the instructions in the pattern.
You will need to add:-
- Embroidery threads (Lynette has used Valdani #O578, #P5, #O514, #JP12, #O548 and #O575)
- 1 scissor charm
- 9" x 15" single sided fusible batting
- 2 1/2" x 5" fusible web
- 9" square see though plastic
- Stitchery stabiliser (optional)
- General sewing supplies
